In this video, I explain the important distinctions I gained through my own personal weight loss journey. Most weight loss solutions mistakenly identify the physical act of overeating as the cause of weight problems when the root cause resides in the mind where emotional issues create the urge to overeat. For any weight loss solution to be effective and lasting result, it must target the mind. Solutions such as diets, exercise, pills, and surgery target the body. Therefore, any result is temporary because the mind will always win over and reimpose the urge to overeat, leading once again to weight gain.
If you want to lose weight, you must understand this key principle: Food addiction is NOT a problem of the body, it’s a problem of the MIND. So solve it, you must turn to the sciences of the mind.
